Kevin Wood began his career making furniture in his back yard in Vancouver. Today, over a decade later, he is one of the most celebrated designers of bespoke furniture. His hand crafted pieces are unique, contemporary and affordable, rendering him one of the most sought-after designers in Canada.

We worked closely with the client to develop something evocative of the wooden textures used to make the products that would at the same time prompt instant brand recognition from the public.

Concept Solution

We needed to make a logo that would work as part of an overarching B2B communication and marketing tool kit. To do this, our graphic design team came up with a colourful symbol that would stand out to consumers. We picked a bright yellow colour for the “K” to highlight Kevin’s active personality, as well as the colour’s connotations with concrete. The result was a fabulous-looking logo that was a key component to the brand’s identity and strategy.
